Ford House Visitor Center
A 21st century look at the iconic family home

The Ford House Visitor Center welcomes visitors to the iconic Ford family’s estate and home. The visitor center introduces families, school groups, and tourists to Eleanor and Edsel Ford’s life and legacy. Visitors are invited into the Ford’s private life through a living room-inspired lobby. They experience the unguarded side of the loving couple through a media collage of home video clips and a digital Ford family scrap book. A changing exhibit space provides the Center with the ability to host temporary and traveling exhibits. The space can accommodate large-scale artifacts, including automobiles.

Luci Creative has worked closely with the Visitor Center’s architect, SmithGroup, and construction management company, Frank Rewold and Sons, to ensure the 3,000 square foot exhibit space integrates and aligns with the entire project design.

We’re telling relevant stories of the family. Everybody knows the name ‘Ford,’ but not who’s who. … We’re excited to be able to put out a consistent, compelling story in an engaging way. Guests will walk away with a better understanding."
